Martin Geissmann, born 01. March 1967 in Mägenwil, Switzerland. Son of Max Geissmann and Verena Fischer.

Career history 1987 – 1992

Special effects and light design for several productions for the Swiss army. Working at a rental company in Zurich, Switzerland as lighting gaffer.

1992 – 1994

Working as freelance soundman, light designer and gaffer for several productions in Switzerland and Europe.

Assignment with lighting company for GMM GRAMMY in Switzerland (TV series "The Wind of Love")

1995 – 1998

Moved to Thailand and started working for X-ACT / GMM GRAMMY as light designer (TV series Hong nua Mangone, Ngau Moranat, Buang ban ja ton, etc)

1999 - 2000

Employed by Siamlite Film Service Ltd as light designer.

2000 -2004

Freelance sound and lighting designer for worldwide clients. Assignment highlights include:

-Re:Source Media Inc (Canada), sound: "World of Wealth" segments in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Burma

- National Geographic Channel (US), sound: Documentaries in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, India

- BBC (UK), sound: travel programs in Thailand, S. Korea, Vietnam

- Star TV / Focus Asia (H.K.) sound feature news programs Thailand, Cambodia

- RTE (Ireland) sound: Documentary Thailand, Vietnam - Swiss Army Video Service: light designer for training videos

- Discovery channel. Sport event “The race” in Thailand Kantschanaburie.

- Sony and HD advertising in Cambodia and Laos. Etc, etc. - Feature film Natur Mort in Samui. With an UK Client.

2004- present

Setting up my own Company, called Tawan audio video film. A Company that rents Light and Sound Equipment for all kind of Video (HD) Production. Tawan is specialized in sound and light. Doing repairs, on equipment. A Hot Spot for all Video Productions. Important work we did since Tawan is born:
